Car
If you are driving, head towards the town of Mont Saint-Michel. From the A84 motorway, take the exit for Mont Saint-Michel (Exit 33). Follow the signs directing you to Mont Saint-Michel. Once you arrive, you will find parking available approximately 2.5 kilometers from the footbridge. After parking, you can either walk or take a shuttle bus (which is often included in the parking fee) to the footbridge.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a train to Pontorson, which is the nearest train station to Mont Saint-Michel. From Pontorson, you can catch a shuttle bus (navette) that operates regularly to Mont Saint-Michel. The shuttle will drop you at the visitor center, from where you will walk approximately 30 minutes to reach the Mont Saint-Michel Footbridge.

Once you have parked your car or arrived via shuttle, you will need to walk to the Mont Saint-Michel Footbridge. If you park in the designated parking area, follow the marked pathways leading towards the island. The footbridge is a scenic walk that offers beautiful views of the bay and the abbey.
