Walking
If you are starting from the Saint-Malo train station (Gare de Saint-Malo), exit the station and head southeast on Rue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Rue de la Ville. Follow this road until you reach the old city walls. Enter the walled city through the main gate, Porte Saint-Vincent. Once inside, head straight down Rue des Chênes, then take a right onto Rue de la Crosse. Continue until you reach Rue David Macdonald Stewart. The Jacques Cartier Museum is located at Manoir de Limoëlou, which will be on your left.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the city center, you can take bus line 2 towards 'La Madeleine' from the stop 'Place Chateaubriand'. Get off at the stop 'Hotel de Ville'. From there, walk along Rue de la Garenne until you reach the intersection with Rue David Macdonald Stewart. Turn left onto Rue David Macdonald Stewart, and you will find the Jacques Cartier Museum at Manoir de Limoëlou on your right.

If you are at the Sillon Beach, walk towards the city center along the promenade. Pass the Casino Barrière and continue until you reach the 'Place Chateaubriand'. From there, head towards the old town through the main gate, Porte Saint-Vincent. Once inside the walls, take Rue des Chênes to the right, then turn right onto Rue de la Crosse. Continue until you reach Rue David Macdonald Stewart and the museum will be on your left at Manoir de Limoëlou.
