Bus
From Montpellier city center, head to the 'Place de l'Europe' tram station. Take tram line 1 (the blue line) towards 'Odysseum' and get off at the 'Gare Saint-Roch' station. From there, transfer to the bus line 22 towards 'Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert'. Get off at the 'Pont du Diable' stop. The bridge will be a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle at one of the many bike rental stations in Montpellier. Head east towards 'Rue de la République' and follow it until you reach 'Avenue de l'Occitanie'. Continue straight onto 'D609', which will take you directly to Aniane. The journey is approximately 12 kilometers and will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Aniane, follow the signs to 'Le Pont du Diable'.
Walking
If you prefer walking, you can take a scenic route. Start from the 'Comédie' square in Montpellier and walk northeast through the 'Parc Zoologique de Lunaret'. Continue walking towards 'Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert' along the river Hérault. It’s a beautiful walk that will take roughly 3 hours and cover about 15 kilometers. Upon reaching the area, follow the signs to 'Le Pont du Diable'.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber. Simply enter 'Le Pont du Diable, Aniane' as your destination. The drive will take about 25 minutes from Montpellier city center, making it a convenient option if you’re traveling in a group or with luggage.
