Experience Port Camargue

Getting There

  • Bus

    From Montpellier, head to the Montpellier Saint-Roch train station. Look for the bus stop for line 106, which travels to Le Grau-du-Roi. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Le Grau-du-Roi' stop. From there, you will need to walk about 20 minutes to reach Port Camargue. Head south on Avenue du Centurion, following the signs for Port Camargue.

  • Train and Bus

    Start at Montpellier Saint-Roch train station and take a train to Le Grau-du-Roi. The train ride takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Le Grau-du-Roi station, exit and look for the bus stop nearby. Take bus line 106 towards Montpellier and get off at the 'Port Camargue' stop. The marina will be a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Bicycle

    If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike in Montpellier. Start at Place de la Comédie and follow the signs towards the Canal du Rhône à Sète. Cycle along the canal trail until you reach the town of Le Grau-du-Roi, which is about a 12 km ride. Once in Le Grau-du-Roi, follow the signs to Port Camargue, which is approximately 5 km from the town center.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route starting from Montpellier. Head towards the southern exit of the city and follow the path along the river. This route is approximately 18 km and will take about 3-4 hours of walking. Once you reach Le Grau-du-Roi, follow Avenue du Centurion to Port Camargue.
