From Montpellier, head to the main bus station, Gare Routière. You can take Tram Line 1 (the yellow line) to the station 'Gare Saint-Roch'. Once there, look for the bus terminal. Take the bus number 106, which goes directly to Aigues-Mortes. The journey takes about 35-45 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as buses may not run frequently. Get off at the stop ‘Aigues-Mortes Gare Routière’.

First, go to Montpellier's train station, Gare Saint-Roch. From there, take a train towards Nîmes or Arles. Get off at the 'Aigues-Mortes' train station. The train journey is approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at 'Aigues-Mortes', you will need to take a local shuttle or a taxi to reach Salin d’Aigues-Mortes, which is about 4 km away from the train station.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Montpellier. You can ride along the Canal du Rhône à Sète or take the most direct route via Route de la Mer.
