Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Ecusson, head southwest on Rue de la Loge towards Rue de l'Ancien Courrier. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de l'Observatoire. Turn right onto Boulevard de l'Observatoire and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue de la République. Continue walking until you see the entrance to Jardin des Plantes on your left at Boulevard Henri IV. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

    If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch tram line 1 (the red line) from the nearest tram stop, 'Comédie', located in the heart of Ecusson. Board the tram towards 'Odysseum'. After two stops, get off at 'Antigone'. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk. Exit the tram station and head southwest on Rue de la République until you reach the intersection with Boulevard Henri IV. Turn left, and you will find the entrance to Jardin des Plantes on your left. A single ticket for the tram costs around €1.60.
