If you are starting from Place de la Comédie, head south towards Rue de la Loge. Continue straight on Rue de la Loge until you reach Rue du Palais des Guilhem. Turn right onto Rue du Palais des Guilhem, and then turn left onto Rue de la République. Walk straight, and this street will lead you directly to Place Georges Frêche, where the Hôtel de Ville de Montpellier is located. It should take about 15 minutes on foot.
Tram

From the central tram stop, Place de la Comédie, take Tram Line 1 (the white tram) towards Odysseum. Get off at the stop called 'Rives du Lez.' From there, walk south along the riverbank towards Rue de la République. Follow Rue de la République until you reach Place Georges Frêche. The Hôtel de Ville de Montpellier will be on your left. The entire journey should take around 20 minutes, including walking time.
Bicycle
