If you are starting from the Nancy City Center (Place Stanislas), exit the square and head southeast towards Rue des Dominicains. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and walk for another 300 meters until you reach Place des Vosges. The Saint Nicolas Gate of Nancy will be directly in front of you at 5 Pl. des Vosges. Look for the impressive archway, which is hard to miss!

From Nancy Train Station (Gare de Nancy-Ville), take Tram Line 1 in the direction of 'Hôpital Central'. Get off at the 'Place Stanislas' stop. From there, walk southeast towards Rue des Dominicains, continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République, then walk for another 300 meters until you arrive at Place des Vosges where you will see the Saint Nicolas Gate of Nancy at 5 Pl. des Vosges.
