Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of the Saint-Leon neighborhood, head south on Rue de la République. Continue straight until you reach Place de la République, a prominent square in the area. From there, take Rue des Écoles which leads directly toward Rue Sainte-Catherine. As you walk along Rue des Écoles, keep an eye out for directional signs for Porte Sainte-Catherine. Once you reach Rue Sainte-Catherine, turn left and walk for a few minutes until you arrive at Porte Sainte-Catherine, which will be on your right-hand side. The entire walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take the tram. Start by making your way to the nearest tram stop, 'République' located on Rue de la République. Board Tram Line 1 in the direction of 'Hôpital Central'. After two stops, disembark at 'Gare', which is a central hub. From Gare, you can either walk to Porte Sainte-Catherine or transfer to Tram Line 2 heading towards 'Blandan' and get off at the next stop, 'Sainte-Catherine'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Porte Sainte-Catherine. Note that a single tram ticket costs approximately €1.50.
