Getting There

• Train

  From Nice, head to Nice-Ville train station. Purchase a ticket to Menton at the ticket machine or counter. Take the train towards Ventimiglia, which runs frequently. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Menton station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenue de Verdun. Walk along Avenue de Verdun towards the east until you reach Mnt du Souvenir. Follow signs for Cimetière du Vieux Château, which is located on the hill. The walk from the station to the cemetery will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

• Bus

  From Nice, go to the main bus station, Gare Routière. Look for buses heading to Menton; you can take the Lignes d'Azur bus 100. The journey takes about 50 minutes. After arriving at the Menton bus station, exit and walk towards Avenue de Verdun. Continue along Avenue de Verdun until you reach Mnt du Souvenir, which leads you to Cimetière du Vieux Château. The walk will take around 15-20 minutes.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app. Simply provide the driver with the address: 'unu, Mnt du Souvenir, 06500 Menton'. The ride should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic.
