Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Nîmes, walk to the Gare Routière (Bus Station) located at 20 Avenue Feuchères. Take Bus Line 108 towards 'Vauvert' and disembark at the 'Vauvert - La Gare' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers. Head east on Avenue du 8 Mai 1945, then turn left onto Route des Iscles. Continue straight, and you will reach the Centre du Scamandre - Syndicat Mixte Camargue Gardoise.

  • Train + Bus

    Walk to the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes) located at 1 Rue de la République. Take a train towards 'Montpellier Saint-Roch' and get off at Vauvert station (approximately a 20-minute ride). After arriving at Vauvert, exit the station and take Bus Line 108 towards 'Nîmes'. Get off at the 'Vauvert - La Gare' stop. From there, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to the Centre du Scamandre by heading east on Avenue du 8 Mai 1945, then turning left onto Route des Iscles.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from the Nîmes city center and head towards the Vauvert area. The distance is approximately 20 kilometers, which may take around 4-5 hours. Head southwest on Rue de l'Horloge, then follow the signs towards Route de Montpellier. Continue straight until you reach Vauvert, then follow Route des Iscles to reach the Centre du Scamandre.
