Start from the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). Exit the station onto Boulevard Feuchères. Turn right onto Rue de la République and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the Place d'Assas, continue straight ahead until you reach the Place de la Maison Carrée. From there, take Rue de la République again towards the east. After about 500 meters, you will reach the Nîmes city center. Follow the signs for the Nîmes bus station, where you can catch a bus to Montpellier. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour.

From the Nîmes train station, walk to the nearby bus station (Gare Routière de Nîmes), which is right next to the train station. Look for the bus service to Montpellier, which is operated by several companies including Flixbus and Ouibus. Purchase your ticket from the vending machines or ticket counters. The bus will take you directly to Montpellier, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Montpellier bus station, you can walk to the Opera Comedie, which is located in the city center.
