Walking
If you are starting from the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), head southeast on Rue du 8 Mai 1945. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the Place de la République. At the square, turn left onto Boulevard Amiral Courbet. Walk for another 300 meters, and then turn right onto Rue de la République. Keep walking straight for about 200 meters, and you will find yourself at Pl. du Marché, a vibrant square filled with shops and cafes.
Bus
From the Nîmes train station, you can take bus line 1 (direction: La Bouvine). Board the bus at the station and get off at the stop named 'République'. From there, walk straight to the Place de la République, then turn left onto Boulevard Amiral Courbet. Continue straight for about 300 meters, then turn right onto Rue de la République. Pl. du Marché will be just ahead, approximately 200 meters from where you turned.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations near the train station. Head southeast on Rue du 8 Mai 1945 and then follow the same route as the walking directions. After cycling for about 1.2 kilometers, you will arrive at Pl. du Marché. There are bike racks available near the square for parking.
