Bus
From Nîmes, walk to the Nîmes Gare Routière (bus station) located at 2 Avenue du Maréchal Juin. Take bus line 108 towards Aigues-Mortes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Aigues-Mortes bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards Route du Grau du Roi. The Salin d’Aigues-Mortes is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the salt marshes.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nîmes, such as 'Nîmes Bike'. Head south on Rue de la République, then turn right onto Rue de la Méditerranée which leads you to the cycle path towards Aigues-Mortes. The ride is about 10 km and will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Follow the signs for 'Salin d’Aigues-Mortes' once you reach Aigues-Mortes.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Nîmes and head towards Boulevard de la Libération. Follow this road until you reach the Pont de la République and cross the river. Continue straight on the D979 road towards Aigues-Mortes. The walk is approximately 12 km and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Be sure to follow the road signs to Aigues-Mortes, and once you arrive, you can walk to Route du Grau du Roi to reach the Salin d’Aigues-Mortes.
