    Walking

    Start at the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). Exit the station and head south on Rue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the Place d'Assas, which is about a 10-minute walk. From there, turn left onto Rue de la République and continue walking until you reach the Place de la Maison Carrée. You will see the Maison Carrée in front of you. From this square, take Rue Foch, which will lead you directly to the Arc de Triomphe in Montpellier. The walk from Nîmes to Montpellier will take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

    Bus

    From central Nîmes, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the bus line 120 towards Montpellier from the Nîmes bus station (Gare Routière). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Montpellier bus station, exit and follow the signs to the tram station. Take tram line 1 towards Odysseum and get off at the 'Comédie' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Rue Foch where the Arc de Triomphe is located. Follow Rue de la Loge until you reach Rue Foch, then turn left to find the Arc.

    Train

    Make your way to the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). Purchase a ticket for the train to Montpellier (around 15 minutes travel time).
