Once you reach Calais, take exit 46 for D940 towards Calais Centre. Follow signs to the city center. As you approach, look for Pl. Henri Barbusse where Calais Lighthouse is located. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of potential parking fees which can range from €1 to €2 per hour.
Train
For those using public transportation, take a train to Calais Ville station. Regular services run from Lille and other major cities in Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Upon arrival at Calais Ville, exit the station and head towards Avenue de la République. You can walk to Pl. Henri Barbusse in approximately 20 minutes. Alternatively, take Bus Line 2 from the train station directly to the city center, which costs about €1.30.
Bus
If traveling by bus, several regional bus services connect different towns within Nord-Pas-de-Calais to Calais. Upon arriving at the main bus station in Calais, you can either walk to Pl. Henri Barbusse, which takes about 15 minutes, or catch Bus Line 2 towards the city center for a small fare of around €1.30.
Walking
Once in the city center, the lighthouse is easily accessible on foot. From Pl. d'Armes, head southeast on Rue de la Mer, then turn left onto Rue du 11 Novembre. Continue straight until you reach Pl. Henri Barbusse where the Calais Lighthouse is situated. The walk should take you no more than 10 minutes from the central square.
