Bayeux Private Walking Tour with a Local Guide
A Great Way to Experience Bayeux!
My husband and I love walking tours — they’re usually a great way to learn “the lay of the land” as well as pick up on a bit of history and/or local lore. Our tour with Catherine was a prime example of all of the above. The tour’s pace was perfect, and we learned so much about the charming village of Bayeux. Catherine was gracious, and thorough, and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend this tour!

Mike picked us up from our Chateau and we had a great day We were a mixed group of 8 and he ensured we all had a great experience. Mike clearly knew his history, was very engaging and made the day fun while remaining respectful of those who had lost their lives all those years ago. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Mike!

An excellent tour
John was a very approachable tour guide who expertly set the scene for our tour and clearly knows a lot about the D-Day landings. For people still deciding on the length of a tour, I strongly recommend this full-day tour. We spent just the right amount of time at each location and at lunch. While it is feasible to visit some of the main sights in half a day, this would feel rushed to me now that I have experienced the full day tour.
