Getting There

• Metro

  To reach the Archives nationales from anywhere in Paris, take the Metro line 1 (Yellow Line). If you are near the Louvre, board the train at Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre station. Travel towards La Défense and get off at the Saint-Paul station. From the station, exit onto Rue des Francs Bourgeois and walk for about 5 minutes. The Archives nationales will be on your left at 60 Rue des Francs Bourgeois.

• Bus

  If you are already in the Le Marais district, you can simply walk to the Archives nationales. Head south on Rue des Archives, then turn right onto Rue des Francs Bourgeois. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the Archives nationales at 60 Rue des Francs Bourgeois.
