Getting There

  • Metro

    To reach Bassin de la Villette by Metro, first locate the nearest Metro station. You can take Line 7 or Line 7bis. Get on at any station that connects with these lines, such as Châtelet or Gare de l'Est. If you are on Line 7, head towards La Courneuve - 8 Mai 1945. If you are on Line 7bis, go towards Pré Saint-Gervais. Disembark at the 'Jaurès' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the Bassin, which is about a 5-minute walk. Head northeast on Avenue de la République, then turn left onto Rue de la Villette, and continue until you reach the water's edge.

    You can also take a bus to reach Bassin de la Villette. Look for Bus Line 48 or Bus Line 75. If you are near the Gare de Lyon, take Bus 75 towards Gare de l'Est. Get off at the 'Laumière' stop.
