Metro
If you are near a Metro station, take Line 8 (the pink line) towards Balard. Get off at the 'La Tour-Maubourg' station. When you exit the station, turn left onto Rue de l'Université. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Fabert. Turn right onto Rue Fabert, and you will arrive at the Esplanade des Invalides.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, look for bus line 28 or 63. Board the bus in the direction of 'Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou' (for line 28) or 'Gare Saint-Lazare' (for line 63). Get off at the 'Les Invalides' stop. From there, walk down Rue Fabert, and you'll see Esplanade des Invalides directly ahead.
Walking
If you're in the area, you can easily walk to Esplanade des Invalides. For example, if you are at the Eiffel Tower, head northeast on Quai Branly, then turn left onto Quai d'Orsay. Continue until you reach Place de l'École Militaire, then turn right onto Rue de Monttessuy. Follow this street until you reach the Esplanade des Invalides.
RER Train
If you are coming from a further distance, you can take the RER C train to the 'Invalides' station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards Rue Fabert. The Esplanade des Invalides is a short walk away, just follow the signs towards the Invalides complex.
