Hôtel Matignon: The Heart of French Governance

Getting There

• Metro

  To reach Hôtel Matignon from any location in Paris, take the Metro Line 13 to the 'Invalides' station. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to the Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg. Exit the metro station and head south on Rue de l'Université. Continue straight until you reach Rue de Varenne. Turn right onto Rue de Varenne, and Hôtel Matignon will be on your left at number 57.

• Bus

  From the central area, you can also take Bus Line 63. Board the bus at 'Place de la Concorde' and get off at 'Varenne - Solférino'. After exiting the bus, walk north on Rue de Varenne for a few minutes, and you will find Hôtel Matignon at number 57 on your right.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Hôtel Matignon. For example, if you are at the Musée d'Orsay, head east towards the Seine River and cross over the Pont de la Concorde. Continue straight on Rue de Varenne until you reach number 57, where Hôtel Matignon is located.

• RER Train

  If you are coming from the suburbs, take the RER C train to the 'Invalides' station. After disembarking, follow the exit signs to Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg. Walk south on Rue de l'Université, and then turn right onto Rue de Varenne. Hôtel Matignon will be located at 57 Rue de Varenne.
