Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Rue Cuvier. Turn right onto Rue Cuvier, and you will see the Jardin des Plantes entrance on your left.

  • Bus

    If you prefer taking a bus, locate the nearest bus stop and check for lines 24, 61, or 89 which all stop near Jardin des Plantes. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop called 'Jardin des Plantes'. Once you exit the bus, you will see the entrance to the garden right in front of you.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of the 5th arrondissement, you can simply walk to Jardin des Plantes. From the nearest landmark such as the Seine River, head east towards Rue Cuvier. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of Jardin des Plantes. It should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.

  • Tram

    You can also take Tram line T3a. Board the tram at any nearby tram stop and get off at 'Gare d'Austerlitz'. From there, follow the same directions as for the Metro: exit towards Rue de Bercy, walk straight for about 5 minutes, turn right onto Rue Cuvier, and you'll see Jardin des Plantes ahead.
