Getting There

  • Metro

    To reach the Moulin Rouge via the Paris Metro, you can take Line 2 (the blue line). If you are starting from the central area near the Louvre, take Line 1 (the yellow line) towards La Défense and transfer at Châtelet to Line 4 (the purple line) towards Porte de Clignancourt. Get off at the next stop, Strasbourg - Saint-Denis, and transfer to Line 8 (the pink line) towards Balard. Change at Opéra to Line 7 (the orange line) towards La Courneuve - 8 Mai 1945. Finally, get off at the next stop, Cadet, and walk approximately 10 minutes to Moulin Rouge. Alternatively, you can take Line 2 directly to Pigalle station, which is just a short walk from the cabaret.
