Getting There

Metro
To get to the Musée de l'Orangerie in the Jardin des Tuileries, take Metro Line 1. If you are starting from the Châtelet - Les Halles station, board the train in the direction of La Défense. Get off at the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the Palais Royal. Walk through the Palais Royal gardens and head towards the Place du Palais Royal. From there, walk towards the Rue de Rivoli, and then turn left. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Jardin des Tuileries. The museum is located within the garden on your right.

Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, you can take Bus Line 72. Board the bus at any nearby stop and make sure it is heading towards the Musée d'Orsay. Get off at the stop called 'Concorde'. From there, walk through the Place de la Concorde towards the Jardin des Tuileries. Enter through the main gates of the garden, and the Musée de l'Orangerie will be on your right as you walk along the paths.

If you are already near the Louvre Museum, you can easily walk to the Musée de l'Orangerie. Exit the Louvre through the Pyramid entrance and head towards the Rue de Rivoli. Turn right on Rue de Rivoli and walk straight until you reach the Jardin des Tuileries. Enter the garden, and the museum will be located on your right side. It's a pleasant walk through one of Paris's most famous gardens.
