Metro
To reach Musée du Luxembourg at 19 Rue de Vaugirard, start by finding the nearest Metro station. If you're near the Louvre, head to Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre (Line 1 or 7). Take Line 1 towards La Défense and transfer at Châtelet to Line 4 towards Mairie de Montrouge. Get off at the Odéon station. From there, exit the station and head south on Rue de l'Ancienne Comédie. Continue straight until you reach Rue de Vaugirard, then turn left. The museum will be on your right.

If you prefer the bus, find a nearby bus stop and look for bus line 58 or 84. If you're at the Seine, you can take bus 58 from the Quai de la Tournelle stop towards Gare Montparnasse. Get off at the stop called 'Vaugirard - Luxembourg'. From there, walk down Rue de Vaugirard towards the east. The Musée du Luxembourg will be on your right.

If you're in the Latin Quarter or near the Jardin du Luxembourg, you can walk to the museum. Head towards the south end of the Jardin du Luxembourg. Exit the garden at the Rue de Vaugirard gate. Once you’re on Rue de Vaugirard, walk east for about 5 minutes. You will see the Musée du Luxembourg on your left side at number 19.
