Travel Guide to Pont Marie

Getting There

• Metro

  Take Line 1 from any station in Paris towards La Défense. If you are starting from Châtelet-Les Halles, board the train at the Châtelet station. Get off at the Saint-Paul station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Rue des Rosiers. Continue walking until you reach Rue des Deux Ponts, then turn left. You will find Pont Marie at the end of the street, crossing over the Seine River.

• Bus

  Take Bus 67 from Gare de Lyon towards Gare Saint-Lazare. If you are starting from the Notre-Dame Cathedral, you can walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Sully - Morland'. Board the bus and get off at the 'Pont Marie' stop. From the bus stop, you are just a short walk away from the bridge. Cross over the street to the Quai de l'Hôtel de Ville, and you will see Pont Marie directly ahead.

• Walking

  If you are near Île Saint-Louis, you can easily walk to Pont Marie. Start from the center of Île Saint-Louis and head southeast towards the Seine River. Walk across the bridge at Pont Saint-Louis, then continue walking straight along the Quai de l'Hôtel de Ville. Pont Marie will be right in front of you as you approach the river.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bike, head towards the Seine River along the banks. You can use the bike lanes along the river to navigate. Start from the vicinity of Île de la Cité and cycle along the right bank towards the Pont Marie. Follow the bike path until you reach Quai de l'Hôtel de Ville, where you will find the entrance to Pont Marie.
