If you are near the Seine River, you can walk to Square René Viviani from the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Head east on Rue du Cloître-Notre-Dame, then cross the bridge to Île de la Cité. Continue walking along Quai de la Tournelle, and then turn left onto Rue du Fouarre. The Square will be directly ahead at the end of the street.
