Walking
If you are in the heart of the Latin Quarter, starting from the iconic Rue Mouffetard, head east towards the Place de la Contrescarpe. From there, continue straight onto Rue de la Bûcherie. When you reach the intersection with Rue des Écoles, turn left. Follow this street until you arrive at the Boulevard de l'Hôpital. The Jardin des Plantes will be in sight on your right, just a short walk away.

If you prefer taking the Metro, locate the nearest Metro station, which is likely the 'Censier - Daubenton' station on Line 7. Board the train heading towards 'La Courneuve - 8 Mai 1945'. After two stops, get off at 'Austerlitz'. From Austerlitz, exit the station and walk north along the Boulevard de l'Hôpital for about 5 minutes until you see the entrance to Jardin des Plantes on your left.

You can also take bus line 24 from the Latin Quarter. Find the nearest bus stop for line 24, which can be near the Panthéon. Board the bus heading towards 'Gare de Lyon'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Jardin des Plantes'. The entrance to the garden will be right in front of you.
