Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, head east on Rue Bonaparte toward Rue de Seine. Continue straight to reach the Seine River. Once you reach the river, turn right and walk along the riverbank. You will pass by the beautiful Notre-Dame-des-Champs Church. Keep walking until you reach Pont Saint-Michel, a bridge over the Seine. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight. You should see the Conciergerie on your right at 2 Boulevard du Palais.

  • Metro

    If you prefer to take the Metro, walk to the nearest station, which is 'Saint-Germain-des-Prés' (Line 4). Board the train towards 'Porte de Clignancourt' and ride for two stops. Get off at 'Cité' station. Exit the station and head toward Boulevard du Palais; you will see the Conciergerie a short walk ahead. Note that a single Metro ticket costs approximately €1.90.
