Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, head north on Rue Bonaparte. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de Rivoli. Turn left onto Rue de Rivoli. Walk for another 400 meters, and you will see the Louvre Pyramid ahead of you, located in the courtyard of the Louvre Museum. The entrance to the museum is near the pyramid.

  • Metro

    If you prefer to take the Metro, head to the Saint-Germain-des-Prés station (Line 4). Take the Metro towards Porte de Clignancourt and get off at Châtelet station (2 stops). Transfer to Line 1 (towards La Défense) and get off at Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station. Exit the station and follow the signs for the Louvre Pyramid; it is just a short walk from there.

  • Bus

    You can also take the bus for a scenic route. Catch Bus Line 63 from the stop 'Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Rue Bonaparte' and ride it for about 10 minutes. Get off at 'Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Louvre Pyramid.
