From the city of Bayonne, take the A63 motorway towards Saint-Jean-de-Luz. After approximately 30 kilometers, take exit 3 for D810 towards Saint-Jean-de-Luz/Sare. Continue on D810 for about 12 kilometers until you reach the village of Sare. In Sare, follow the signs for La Marche des Sorcières located at 7C9J+M2. There is free parking available near the starting point of the hike.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a train from Bayonne to Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Saint-Jean-de-Luz station, transfer to the local bus service (Ligne 2) that operates towards Sare. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited. Get off at the stop closest to 7C9J+M2 in Sare. From there, it is a short walk to the starting point of La Marche des Sorcières.
