Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from various locations in Picardy, you need to head towards Paris. Use the A1 motorway, which connects directly to Paris. Once you reach Paris, follow the signs for 'Périphérique' and take the exit for 'Porte de la Chapelle'. Continue on the Périphérique until you reach the signs for 'Louvre'. After exiting, follow Rue de Rivoli until you reach Rue de Montpensier. The Jardin du Palais Royal is located at 8 Rue de Montpensier. Note that parking in central Paris can be expensive, so consider using parking garages nearby, which may charge around €2-€4 per hour.

• Train

  For public transportation, take a train from various locations in Picardy to Paris. The most common route is to take a TER train to Gare du Nord.
