Car
If you're driving from La Rochelle, take the A837 towards Rochefort. Continue on this route for approximately 25 km. Take the exit towards Fouras and follow D137. As you approach Fouras, you'll see signs for Fort Enet. There is a small parking area near the fort where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort Enet via public transport, take a TER train from La Rochelle to Rochefort. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Rochefort, you can take bus line 10 towards Fouras. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Le Port' in Fouras, and then it’s a short walk to Fort Enet, following the signs towards Pnte de la Fumée.
Walking
If you are already in Fouras, you can walk to Fort Enet from the town center. Head towards the waterfront and follow the coastal path. It’s about a 20-minute walk (1.5 km) along the scenic path that leads directly to the fort.
