Walking
The Calanque des Eaux Salées is primarily accessed on foot. From Carry-le-Rouet, head towards Plage du Rouet. From the beach, follow the coastal path that leads west. The path initially runs alongside the beach before ascending slightly and winding along the coast. You'll pass near the Chapelle Notre Dame du Rouet. Continue following the marked path; after a short distance, you'll descend a series of steps leading down to the calanque. The walk from Plage du Rouet takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Be aware that the path includes some uneven terrain and steps, so wear appropriate footwear. There are no access fees.

Public Transport
From Marseille, take the train to Carry-le-Rouet station (€4-€10). From the station, you can either walk (approximately 30-40 minutes) to Plage du Rouet and then follow the walking directions above, or take a local bus (line C8 or 55) towards Carry-le-Rouet centre and get off near the port or Plage du Rouet. Bus tickets cost around €2. Once at Plage du Rouet, follow the walking directions to the calanque.

If driving, park near Plage du Rouet. Parking du Rouet is a paid parking lot from April to September (€0.50 per half hour). Alternatively, free parking is available further away from the beach, such as Parking de la Gendarmerie. From the parking area, follow the walking directions to the calanque. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season, so arrive early. There are no tolls on the route to Carry-le-Rouet.
