Walking
From the center of Forcalquier, the Citadelle is accessible via a 20-minute uphill walk. The route involves navigating through the town's backstreets and ascending winding steps. Follow signs towards the Citadelle. The path is steep in places.
Public Transport
Several bus lines serve Forcalquier, with the closest bus stops to the Citadelle being Place Martial Sicard and Place M. Sicard. From either of these stops, it is approximately a 7-minute walk to the Citadelle. Bus lines include 65, 915, 480, and 482. A single bus fare costs around €2.
Parking
Parking is available near the Avenue de Verdun, located below the tourist office. From the parking area, there is direct access to the town center via a stairway. Parking is free, but spaces may be limited, especially on Mondays due to the market. Additional parking can be found at Parking des Cordeliers.
