Several bus lines serve Forcalquier, with the closest bus stops to the Citadelle being Place Martial Sicard and Place M. Sicard. From either of these stops, it is approximately a 7-minute walk to the Citadelle. Bus lines include 65, 915, 480, and 482. A single bus fare costs around €2.

Parking is available near the Avenue de Verdun, located below the tourist office. From the parking area, there is direct access to the town center via a stairway.
