Driving
To reach Ganagobie Abbey by car, head towards Manosque. From Manosque, take the D4 road towards Ganagobie and follow the signs for the abbey. The journey is approximately 15 kilometers and offers scenic views. Once in Ganagobie, follow the signs to the abbey at Le Prieuré, 04310 Ganagobie. Note: Do not take the Ganagobie-Village road. A large parking area is available next to the abbey. Parking is free. Be aware that the road to the top is narrow with hairpin bends.
Public Transport
To reach Ganagobie Abbey via public transport, take a train from major cities in Provence (like Avignon or Marseille) to either the La Brillanne-Oraison or ChâteauArnoux–St Auban train station. From there, take a taxi to the abbey. The taxi ride from Manosque (if you arrive there by bus) to Ganagobie is about 15 kilometers and may cost around €30-€40. Alternatively, take the LER 29 bus. Check bus schedules in advance.
