Car

To reach the lavender field by car, head towards the Durance River Valley. From Avignon, take the A7 motorway towards Aix-en-Provence and then merge onto the A51 towards Sisteron. Exit at Manosque and follow the D4, then D907 towards Puimoisson. The lavender fields are located along the RD 8 road. Use GPS coordinates 43.8961536, 6.1048016 for precise navigation. Parking is available nearby. Note that during peak season (July), the area can be busy, so arrive early. Car rentals are available in Puimoisson. There are camping-car areas in Puimoisson, with prices for a 24-hour stopover ranging from €13.10 to €14.20. Parking for 5 hours plus services is €6. The tourist tax is €1.22 / 24h.

Public Transport

For public transportation, start by taking a train from Avignon to Manosque. The train ride typically takes about 1 hour. From Manosque, you can catch a local bus (Line 22) that runs to Puimoisson. Alternatively, consider arranging a taxi from Manosque to the lavender fields, which may cost around €25-€35. Be aware that bus schedules may vary, especially on weekends, so check the timetable in advance.
