Driving
The most convenient way to reach the lavender fields is by car. From Valensole village, follow the D6 towards Manosque or the D8 towards Puimoisson to find numerous lavender fields. Parking is generally free along the roadside, but be prepared for limited spaces during peak season. Some fields, like those near Lavandes Angelvin, have designated parking areas. Be aware that the roads can be narrow and winding. No tolls are expected on the immediate approach. Parking is free.
Public Transport
While reaching the fields directly by public transport is challenging, you can take a regional train to Manosque. From there, a bus (DLVA 133) or taxi can take you to Valensole. However, buses do not go directly to the lavender fields, requiring a walk from the Valensole stop. A taxi from Manosque to the lavender fields will cost approximately €30-€40. Bus fare from Manosque to Valensole is around €3.
