Be aware that the roads can be narrow and winding. No tolls are expected on the immediate approach. Parking is free.
Public Transport
While reaching the fields directly by public transport is challenging, you can take a regional train to Manosque. From there, a bus (DLVA 133) or taxi can take you to Valensole. However, buses do not go directly to the lavender fields, requiring a walk from the Valensole stop. A taxi from Manosque to the lavender fields will cost approximately €30-€40. Bus fare from Manosque to Valensole is around €3.
