Walking
The Tourist Train departs from Esplanade de la Rotonde, conveniently located next to the Aix-en-Provence Tourist Office. From the Cours Mirabeau, walk towards the large Rotonde fountain. The train meeting point is directly in front of the Tourist Office, near the Cézanne statue. No additional costs are involved.
Public Transport
From the Aix-en-Provence train station (Gare d'Aix-en-Provence), take any bus heading towards the city center (lines 7 or 15 are common). Disembark at the 'Rotonde' stop, which is the closest to the Tourist Train departure point. The bus ride is short and offers a glimpse of the city. A single ticket costs approximately €1.10. From the bus stop, the train departure point is a short walk.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From anywhere in the city center, a taxi or ride-share to Esplanade de la Rotonde is a convenient option. Most drivers will know the location of the Tourist Office. Expect to pay between €8 and €12 for a short trip within the city center. Be aware that traffic can be heavy at times, especially during peak tourist season.
Parking
If driving, the closest parking is available at Parking Rotonde. From the parking, exit towards Avenue Giuseppe Verdi and walk towards the Rotonde fountain. The Tourist Train departure point is next to the Tourist Office. Parking fees at Parking Rotonde are capped at €25 for 24 hours. Note that the first 30 minutes are free.
