Driving
If you are traveling by car, navigate to the town of Montels. From Foix, take the D119 road towards Montels. Once you reach Montels, continue on the D21 road for about 5 kilometers. You will find Cascade d'Alzen on your right. Parking is available nearby, but it may be limited during peak tourist season. There are no tolls on this route.
Walking
For those who prefer to enjoy the scenic route, consider walking from Montels to Cascade d'Alzen. Starting in the village, head towards the D21 road. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers and should take around an hour. Be cautious of traffic on the road. There are no costs involved in walking to the Cascade d'Alzen.
Public Transport
While there isn't direct public transport to the Cascade d'Alzen, you can take a bus to Montels. From Toulouse, Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF) operates a train to Foix, and from there you can take a bus to Montels. Alternatively, from Béziers, you can take the line 642 bus to MONTELS - Centre. From Montels, you can walk or take a taxi to the Cascade d'Alzen. A taxi from Montels to the cascade would be approximately 10-15 EUR.
