If you are driving, take the D46 road from Sarlat-la-Canéda. Follow the signs for Château de Puymartin. The castle is located approximately 10 minutes away from the town center. After leaving Sarlat, stay on the D46 for about 5 km, then turn right onto Chemin de Puymartin. The castle will be on your left. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach Château de Puymartin via public transport, take a bus from Sarlat-la-Canéda to the nearest bus stop. The bus service runs regularly, but check the local schedule for accurate times. Once you arrive at the stop closest to the castle, it's a 15-minute walk. Head towards Chemin de Puymartin, following the road signs to the castle. Please note that the bus fare is approximately €1.50.

If you are already in Sarlat-la-Canéda and prefer to walk, it is about a 5 km walk to Château de Puymartin. Start from the town center, head northwest on Rue de la République, and continue until you reach the D46. Follow the D46 road until you see signs for Château de Puymartin. Allow about 1 hour for the walk, and wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
