Walking
If you are near the Rennes train station (Gare de Rennes), exit the station and head towards Rue de l'Alma. Walk straight on Rue de l'Alma until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Monnaie. Turn right onto Rue de la Monnaie, and continue straight until you reach Place des Lices, a lively square surrounded by cafes and restaurants. From there, head towards Rue Saint-Michel and follow it until you arrive at the Rennes Centre Historique, which is located around the area of 35000 Rennes.
Public Transport
If you are further away, you can take the Metro Line A towards La Poterie. Get off at the République station. From the station, take the exit towards Place de la République. Once you are outside, walk towards Rue de la Préfecture and then to Rue Saint-Michel. Follow Rue Saint-Michel which will lead you directly to the Rennes Centre Historique, located in the heart of the historical district.
