If you are starting from the Rennes City Hall (Hôtel de Ville), head south on Place de la Mairie towards Rue de la Monnaie. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Rue de la Monnaie. Turn left onto Rue de la Monnaie and walk for another 200 meters. The Cathedral Saint-Pierre de Rennes will be on your right, marked by its impressive façade.

From the République station, take Line A of the Metro towards La Poterie. Get off at the next stop, which is the Charles de Gaulle station. Exit the station and walk straight towards Rue de la Monnaie. Continue walking for about 400 meters, and you will see the Cathedral Saint-Pierre de Rennes on your left.

If you are near the Gare de Rennes (the train station), you can take bus line 57 towards Saint-Jacques. Get off at the stop named 'Place de la Mairie'.
