Walking
If you are at the Rennes City Hall (Hôtel de Ville), head east on Rue de la Monnaie. Continue straight until you reach Place de la République. From there, take the first exit on the right onto Rue Saint-Michel. Follow Rue Saint-Michel until it intersects with Rue de la Touche. Turn left onto Rue de la Touche and continue until you reach Rue de la Chataigneraie. Take a right and walk straight until you can see the towering spires of the Saint-Melaine Church. The church is located at Place Saint-Mélaine.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Rennes central train station (Gare SNCF), take the Metro Line A towards Blosne. Get off at the République stop. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the bus terminal and catch Bus Line 2 towards Saint-Jacques. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Place Saint-Mélaine' stop. The church will be right in front of you as you step off the bus.

Starting at the Rennes central train station (Gare SNCF), board Metro Line A towards Blosne. After three stops, get off at the 'République' station.
