    From the center of Lignerolles, the Gorges du Haut Cher can be reached by foot. Follow the signs towards the train station ('la gare'), pass under the railway, and take the path on the left. Descend to the parking area about 300 meters away. From the parking area, take the trail that descends to the banks of the Cher River (approximately a 10-minute walk). At the bottom of the slope, take the small path that runs along the river; the start of the via ferrata is located immediately after the stone wall that marks the picnic area.
