The Musée de Grenoble is located at 5 Place de Lavalette, a 2.6km or approximately 30-minute walk from the city center. From Place Grenette, walk along the Quai Stéphane Jay, then cross the bridge over the Isère River. Continue straight onto Place de Lavalette.
Driving
If driving from the A48 (Lyon-Grenoble), take the Grenoble Bastille exit, follow Quai Stéphane-Jay and Quai Claude Brosse, then take Place Lavalette. From the A41 (Chambéry-Grenoble), take the Grenoble Centre exit, follow Boulevard Maréchal-Leclerc, then take Place Lavalette. Parking is available under the museum, accessible via Quai Jongkind and Boulevard Maréchal Leclerc. Parking rates vary, but expect to pay around €3 per hour.
