Centenary Monument: A Tribute to Nice's Heritage

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Nice from your location in Rhône-Alpes. Use the A7 motorway and follow the signs for Nice. Once you reach Nice, take the exit for Promenade des Anglais. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de Verdun. Turn left onto Avenue de Verdun and follow it until you see the Centenary Monument at 06000 Nice. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared to find a parking space or consider using a parking garage.

• Train

  If you prefer public transport, take a train from your nearest station in Rhône-Alpes to Nice Ville station. Trains are frequent and typically take around 3 to 4 hours depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Nice Ville, exit the station and walk towards Avenue Jean Médecin. From there, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take tram line 1 from the 'Jean Médecin' stop towards 'Hôpital Pasteur'. Get off at the 'Masséna' stop, and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Centenary Monument.

Once you arrive at Nice, use the local bus service (Lignes d'Azur) to get to the city center. You can take bus number 23 or 99 from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport or the central bus station. Get off at the 'Masséna' stop, and from there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Centenary Monument.

  For a more comfortable journey, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber) from your location in Rhône-Alpes directly to the Centenary Monument in Nice.
