• Car

  If you're traveling by car, Chamonix in the French Alps is easily accessible from major cities in Rhône-Alpes. • Train

  Taking the train is a scenic option to reach Chamonix. From Lyon Part-Dieu station, you can take a train to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. The journey takes about 3 hours, with a transfer at either Bellegarde or Annecy. Once at Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, you can take the Mont Blanc Tramway to Chamonix, which takes roughly 30 minutes.
