Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Rhône-Alpes and take the A43 motorway towards Chambéry. Continue on the A43, then merge onto the A41 towards Annecy. Once you reach the A41, follow the signs for A41/A430 towards Albertville. After approximately 70 km, exit onto the N90 towards Moûtiers before continuing on the N90 for another 20 km. Follow signs for Sion and merge onto the N21, which will take you directly to Sion. Once in Sion, follow local signs to Rue de la Majorie where Majorie Castle is located at Rue de la Majorie 8. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee.
Train
For those preferring public transportation, take a train from any major station within Rhône-Alpes to Sion. Trains from Lyon to Sion run frequently, approximately every hour, and the journey takes about 3 hours. Upon arrival at Sion train station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop outside. Take Bus Line 1 towards 'Monthey' and get off at 'Sion, Majorie'. From there, it is a short walk of about 10 minutes to reach Majorie Castle at Rue de la Majorie 8.
Bus
If you are already in Sion, you can use the local bus services. From the Sion train station, take Bus Line 1 towards Monthey. The ticket costs around 3 CHF. Get off at the 'Sion, Majorie' stop. From there, it is a short walk of about 10 minutes to reach the castle at Rue de la Majorie 8. Ensure you check the local bus schedules as they may vary on weekends.
