Getting There

    From the Rouen Cathedral, walk 1.5km to the bottom of the stairs that lead to Côte Sainte-Catherine. Walk along the left side of the Cathedral on Rue Saint-Romain. Cross Rue de la République, then take Rue Martainville, located to the left of Saint-Maclou Church. Cross the TEOR lane and Place du Canada, continuing straight onto Rue du Faubourg Martainville. Take Rue de Mont Gargan, pass under the expressway, and ascend the visible steps on your right. Allow 15-30 minutes for the climb.

  • Public Transport

    From Rouen's Hôtel de Ville, take bus number 13 towards Belbeuf and Boos and get off at the 'La Corniche' stop. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes, followed by a 15-minute walk to the panorama along the secured path on your left. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.60. Alternatively, take bus number 20 towards Saint-Léger-du-Bourg-Denis and get off at the 'Cimetière du Mont Gargan' stop. This drops you at the foot of the 525 steps leading up to the hill.

  • Car

    Drive to Bonsecours (76240) via the docks on the right bank. Parking is available either at the bottom of the hill on Rue Henri Rivière, near the cemetery entrance, or directly at the panorama on Route de la Corniche. Parking availability may be limited. There are parking options available at Côte-Sainte-Catherine building, but spaces can be limited.
